Privacy policy
StringSpec has no accounts, no sign-in and no forms that ask who you are. It is run by BigBalli (contact [email protected]). Last updated 6 October 2026.
On the website
Pages load Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and a page-view counter hosted on bigballi.com. They record which pages are viewed, the referring site, and the browser and device type, and the first two set cookies. They are used to see which pages people find useful and nothing else.
The restring log at My setups is stored only in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to the server.
Links to shops take you to the retailer, whose own privacy policy applies from that point.
Through the AI connector
When an AI app such as Claude uses the StringSpec connector at https://stringspec.com/mcp,
the server receives the tool name and its arguments, for example a string name or "comfort". It
does not receive your conversation, your name or your account with that app. The arguments are
used to answer the request and are not stored.
Server logs
Like any web server, this one logs each request's IP address, time, address requested and browser type. The connector's requests are logged the same way, without their arguments. Logs are kept for 14 days to keep the site running and secure, and recent request times per IP address are kept for up to an hour to enforce rate limits. None of it is sold or shared.
