Use StringSpec in Claude
StringSpec is available as a connector, so Claude can answer string questions from the same 791 lab measurements this site shows instead of from memory. Ask which polyester is softest, how two strings compare, or what to string for a sore elbow, and the answer comes back with the numbers, the retail price and a link to the string's page here.
Add it
The server address is:
https://stringspec.com/mcp
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector and paste the address. No account or sign-in is needed. Any app that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can use the same address.

What to expect
Every figure is a machine measurement or arithmetic on one, as described in the methodology. Playable life and tension advice are estimates and are labelled that way. Prices are a retailer's set price from the last check, not live prices. The connector only reads data; it cannot place orders or change anything.
